124th Congress of the German Society of Internal Medicine
The 124th Annual Meeting of the German Society of Internal Medicine has as main theme: "Internal medicine - medicine for the whole person".
With this guiding theme - it is a statement by Professor Walter Siegenthaler - it should be made clear that despite successful specialization in theareas of internal medicine, it is the holistic approach to thepatientsentrusted to us, who should guide our diagnostics and therapy. In parallel chronic conditions, the progression is individually different and our therapeutic approach therefore varies greatly depending on the disease.
