124th Congress of the German Society of Internal Medicine
The 124th Annual Meeting of the German Society of Internal Medicine has as main theme: "Internal medicine - medicine for the whole person".
With this guiding theme - it is a statement by Professor Walter Siegenthaler - it should be made clear that despite successful specialization in the areas of internal medicine, it is the holistic approach to the patients entrusted to us , who should guide our diagnostics and therapy. In parallel chronic conditions, the progression is individually different and our therapeutic approach therefore varies greatly depending on the disease.
