HBS 2018: Heart and Brain Symposium 2018

Being held June 28-30 in the breath-taking Chicago, the Heart and Brain Symposium 2018  offers a comprehensive guide to primary and secondary cardioembolic stroke prevention and other heart-brain conditions.
Highlights will include interactive case studies on complicated patients that require teamwork across the cardiology and neurology departments - including Atrial Fibrillation, PFO, ablation, and occluders - as well as debates on treatment where there is a lack of clear guidelines.
The theme of the event is "Preventing cardioembolic stoke as an interdisciplinary team" which shows the symposium`s special focus on the dialogue between Neurology and Cardiology towards a more integrated approach to our patient care.
