Medicine and me: your mental health as a doctor
Mental health in the medical profession – are doctors reluctant to seek help? And where can they go to get support?
This patient-focused meeting gives medical professionals, including doctors and medical students, who have suffered with metal health issues a platform to share their experiences and concerns.
Speakers from the BMA Doctors for Doctors Service and NHS Practitioner Health Programme, which is involved in the treatment and care of mental health, will discuss the impact of diagnosis, investigation and management as well as the current relationship between doctors, mental health and regulation with the GMC.
Free to attend for patients, family members, carers, medical students and trainee doctors.
